The Standard Pulse width modulated Power supply Used on systems is the 600 watt power supply. This unit is fitted to all Gen 10 Systems for use on engines under 4 liter capacity.
The 600 watt power supply is capable delivering 30 amp and 12 volt or 24 volt. It is advised to run the system at no more than 25 amp.
Gen 15 and Gen 20 Systems can be fitted with the 600 watt power supply, however for larger engines the 1500 watt power supply is recommended. The 1500 watt power supply up to 50 amp at 12 volt or 24 volt. The 1500 watt power supply operates with greater efficiency at high current output . Large trucks, trawlers, Generators and 4 wheel drive work vehicles have larger loading and require increased gas output.
A 3000 watt Pulse width modulator power supply is also available for larger gas production.
All Power supplies are mounted into a sealed diecast aluminum enclosure box and use cable glands to connect the wiring – see diagram. The Power supplies are mounted inside the system enclosure or on the lid of the the system enclosure. The ammeter and shunt resistor is also securely mounted onto the lid of the diecast aluminum enclosure box.
Controls for the power supply operation are mounted through the side walls of the diecast aluminum enclosure box
